Research

Research summary/interests

Dermatology:
Design of functional cosmetic ingredients
Biomimetic DNA repair and anti-skin aging approaches
New photoprotection strategies (Solar UV)

Vitamin C:
In addition to being an antioxidant, ascorbic acid (AA) in its oxidized form, dehydroascorbic acid (DHA) has many important biological functions beyond the AA–DHA cycle. Current research include exploring the other facets of this important molecule and use the knowledge to make an effective dug like molecule.

Antiviral:
HIV-1 Protease inhibitors
HCV NS3 Protease inhibitors
